21/01/2025 - Financial Statement Users to Play Key Role in Shaping Reporting Standards for 2025

Join EFRAG and the IASB at the upcoming event, "Financial Reporting: What’s Ahead for 2025? Focus on investor and analysts-oriented projects", taking place on 6 February 2025 from 17:00 to 18:30 CET.


The landscape of financial reporting will bring significant changes in 2025. From the adoption of IFRS 18 – focusing on Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements – to updates on the Statement of Cash Flows and Intangibles projects, investors, analysts, and other stakeholders will need to navigate a transformative period for financial statements. 

To help stakeholders better understand the impact of these upcoming changes, EFRAG is co-hosting the hybrid event Financial Reporting: What’s Ahead for 2025? Focus on investor and analysts-oriented projects on 6 February 2025 from 17:00 to 18:30 CET. The event, co-organised with the Belgian Association of Financial Analysts (ABAF/BVFA) and the Belgian Commission for Accounting Standards (CNC/CBN), will be held both online and in person at EFRAG’s office in Brussels. Speakers include Saskia Slomp, EFRAG CEO, Sadi Podevijn, CBN-CNC Secretary General and EFRAG Financial Reporting Board (FRB) member, Nick Anderson, IASB member, Wolf Klinz, EFRAG FRB Chair, Sebastien Harushimana, EFRAG FR TEG Chair, and Rasmus Sommer, EFRAG Associate Director. 

Attendees will gain valuable insights into EFRAG’s 2025 work plan and the initiatives of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) for the current year. The event will also provide stakeholders with opportunities to:
