David Calvet

David Calvet is an Editor at EFRAG. He joined EFRAG in December 2023 and works with both the Financial Reporting and Sustainability Reporting pillars of the organisation.

He holds a doctoral degree in Philosophy with a focus on Philosophy of Language and a Master's degree in English with a focus on Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Arkansas.

David has a background in technical writing, editing and writing consultancy. He has worked as an editor and academic journal manager at an academic press. Previous experiences also include business writing consultancy, editorial style guide development and UXD. David is an instructor of technical writing and a researcher in rhetorical studies.
