Peter Ujvari

Peter is the IFRS Technical Director of MET Group, an integrated European energy company, headquartered in Switzerland, with activities and assets in natural gas and power markets, present in 15 countries through subsidiaries, 30 national gas markets, and 22 international trading hubs. He is responsible for the preparation of the financial reporting and sustainability reporting of MET Group.

Peter has 20+ years of experience in a wide range of financial services, including accounting and financial reporting. Previously, Peter was an assurance partner for Deloitte Hungary and led the IFRS advisory and the internal control assurance practice. He also worked for EY Belgium where his responsibility included providing support to audit teams and clients during the preparation of IFRS financial statements.

His extensive experience also includes time with two major Belgian public companies and PwC Belgium.

Peter is a member of the ACCA Global Forum for Corporate Reporting whose role is to influence the development of financial and sustainability reporting around the world.

Peter has a bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting from the Budapest Business University - Faculty of Finance and Accountancy, and a master's degree in Marketing from the University of Miskolc - Faculty of Economics.

He is a certified public accountant and a certified tax advisor.
