Andrea Lionzo
Andrea Lionzo is Full Professor of Financial Accounting at the School of Banking, Finance and Insurance Sciences of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan. He obtained a PhD in Business Administration from Cà Foscari University and a Master in Business Administration with honors from Fondazione CUOA.
Andrea is also a Certified Chartered Accountant and Auditor.
His main research interests are focused on financial accounting, particularly on recognition and measurement, M&A accounting, accounting for financial institutions, earnings management and corporate governance. He authored and co-authored several articles and books on these topics.
Andrea is a member of the EFRAG's Academic Panel since 2017.
He serves as a reviewer for many international journals and is Co-Editor of the Journal of Management and Governance. He is a member of EAA (European Accounting Association) and of SIDREA (Italian Association of Professors of Accounting and Business Administration).
Andrea has participated on a range of IFRS projects for listed and unlisted companies and financial institutions. He is also involved in executive education on IFRS and corporate valuations.
