Olena Liakh

Olena joined EFRAG's Sustainability Reporting Team in July 2023.

After completing her PhD in Applied Economics (sustainability management), she carried on with her scientific activities as a joint professor and post-doctoral researcher, specialising in topics related to corporate sustainability, circular business models and innovation, in such contexts as networks, SMEs, universities and broader policymaking.

Olena's background includes professional experience within sustainability reporting in the private sector, as well as authorship and peer-reviewing of scientific publications and contributions to a number of EU-funded projects within the ESG domain.

She holds a GRI Professional Certification and is a certified facilitator for the En-ROADS climate simulation initiative.
