Ioanna Michailidi

Ioanna joined EFRAG in June 2023 as a Junior Technical Manager for the Financial Reporting Team.
 
Previously, she worked as a Business Analyst at a global multidisciplinary engineering consultancy group, where she was involved in projects aimed at improving the data collection and data quality for supporting the preparation and presentation of the group’s consolidated financial statements according to IFRS. Prior to that, she was a Blue Book trainee at the European Commission’s DG FISMA in the Insurance and Pensions unit, where she was actively involved in the endorsement process of IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts.
 
Ioanna holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. She also completed an MSc in Information Management and Business Intelligence from Maastricht University, the Netherlands with an exchange semester at Luiss Guido Carli University, Italy. Her thesis focused on the initial effect of the European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) on the information environment in Germany.
