Pedro Faria

Before joining EFRAG technical leadership team as Environmental leader, Pedro worked for 13 years at CDP as Technical Director (2009-2018) and as an Advisor to CDP executive team (2019-2022). CDP is a not-for-profit organization promoting a global disclosure system for companies, investors, cities, States, and regions to manage their environmental impacts. He also has previous experience working with private sector as a sustainability consultant and public administration implementing the Integrated Prevention and Pollution Control Directive and the EU Emissions Trading system (Portuguese Environmental Agency). Pedro is an environmental engineer and has a MSc in Engineering and Innovation Management, both at Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon).
