Rita Marinhas
Rita is a Sustainability Reporting Junior Technical Manager, part of the Sustainability Reporting Secretariat at EFRAG.
She graduated in Economics from the University of Lisbon, with a semester at the University of Padua, and holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies from the University of Sussex. Previously, she worked as an International Consultant at a Software company for 4 years and was as a Trainee in DG Environment in the European Commission.
Rita did studies in China and wrote her Master's thesis on the role of Environmental and Social Standards in promoting Sustainable Development in large-scale infrastructure projects, in the context of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Passionate about all aspects of Sustainability and Development, Rita has recently focused on Environmental issues and, more specifically, on Biodiversity. She also has a strong interest in the area of Sustainable Finance.
She holds a Level D Project Manager certificate issued by IPMA and is a CFA candidate.
