Alan Brett
Alan Brett, as Head of Corporate Go=ernance Ratings Research, is responsible for research on corporate governance including ratings methodology and research commentary and leads MSCI’s team of specialist corporate governance analysts.
He serves as a member of the ESG Methodology Committee which is responsible for reviewing methodologies on matters of ESG methodologies which are applied in MSCI’s ESG suite=of product. He joined MSCI in October 2014 and has almost 20 years experience in corporate governance research.
Alan served for more than ten years as Head of Research at global proxy advisor, Manifest, where he gained extensive experience of corporate governance analysis and knowledge of best practices in the field.
Alan is based in the London office and holds a BA in Corporate Administration from Waterford Institute of Technology (Ireland) and a Pg Dip in Corporate Governance from Bournemouth University (UK).
