Gunnar Rimmel
Prof. Dr. Gunnar Rimmel, is Chair in Accounting & Corporate Reporting and director of the Henley Centre for Accounting Research & Practice (HARP) at Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK. He previously worked in Sweden as a professor of accounting at Jönköping International Business School. He received his doctorate in 2003 for the thesis "Human Resource Disclosures" from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He published his articles in international academic journals and contributed with more than twenty book chapters in international books. He is editor of the textbook Accounting for Sustainability. Since many years, he is an executive board member of the Center for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR), board member of the British Accounting and Finance Association - Financial Accounting and Reporting Special Interest Group (FARSIG) and member of the European Accounting Association’s – Stakeholder Reporting Committee (EAA SRC). He is also an editorial board member of the Accounting Forum, Social and Environmental Accountability Journal and the Journal of Business Models.
