Gloria Mazzocco
Gloria has a degree in Economics and a Master in Analysis, Planning and Control and
is currently in charge of the Group Accounting Advisory, within Holding Administration
in Enel Group.
Before joining Enel in 2010, Gloria worked as accounting consultants for SMEs and in
2005 joined PwC, where she was involved in the audit activity of IAS/IFRS financial
statements of banks and financial institutions.
In her accounting advisory activity in Enel Group, Gloria provides advices on key
accounting issues about the practical application of IFRS to all the Group Counties
and Global Business Lines, sharing and promoting IFRS best practices within the
Group. In about ten years of activity in Enel Group, Gloria developed a strong
knowledge of IFRS and related financial statements regulations, with a particular
focus on financial instruments. She matured also a significant experience in the utility
industry and in Enel integrated business approach through the structuring and
assessment of the accounting impact of complex transactions and utility business
topics.
Gloria also promotes Enel Group accounting best practice in courses, congresses and
conferences and participates to the technical accounting consultations proposed by
the Italian Standard Setter (OIC) as well as by the other institutions involved in IFRS
and other European regulations affecting financial and non-financial reporting. Gloria
is also as a member of OIC Financial Instruments Working Group.
